Health and Safety
Health and Safety is of paramount importance to Ozclean Window Cleaning Services, and we are proud of our 100% safety record.
As with most cleaning, window cleaning can be a high risk occupation, if the appropriate measures aren't taken so we are naturally concerned with Health and Safety. As well as Health and Safety being a requirement by law in the work place we also take it seriously so as to protect ourselves and our employees, you and your employees (if you are a commercial client), and members of the public.
We use water fed poles for all high level work where possible. This helps us to stay fully compliant with the working at height directive (WAHD-2001/45/EC), which came into force on the 6th April 2005. Ladders, with the use of a ladder stabilising device, are only used as a last resort.
On commercial premises, thorough Risk Assessments are carried out by us prior to working at the site for the first time. A Method Statement is then written up to ensure that work is carried out consistently in the safest possible way. These practices are carried out on a regular basis for reason of review and safety of everyone around us.
We also use Hi-Viz vests, warning signs, and cones whilst carrying out work.
We hold public liability insurance up to £5 million.
